Who we are.

West End MT is the UK’s leading professional weekend training programme for young performers.

Every Sunday an elite group of talented young performers come from all over the country to take part in five hours of intensive Musical Theatre training classes and workshops.

Our specialist teachers and incredible guests offer the best part-time Musical Theatre training available anywhere in the UK.

Our dedicated creative team work weekly with students in order to develop a strong and consistent background of technique and performance training that is absolutely essential in the three core disciplines of Musical Theatre – dance, singing and acting.

We have an unrivalled record of developing many young actors, singers and dancers into professional performers and a high number of our students go on to train at full-time performing arts colleges.

We currently have alumni appearing in West End and touring shows including Six The Musical, Mamma Mia, Dirty Dancing, Rocky Horror, Les Miserables, Tina, Rock of Ages and more!

WEMT has given me the confidence to perform and to believe in myself and I will always be so grateful to everyone in the WEMT team for this.

I’ve learnt so much through WEMT, and last year I was offered the fantastic opportunity of playing Asha in CBBC’s The Beaker Girls, and I also completed my first ever professional theatre run, playing the Princess in Aladdin during pantomime season.

Entry into West End MT is via audition only.

Hundreds of young performers from all over the UK apply to attend our specialized Masterclass auditions which take place in London at various points in the year. This is a highly inspirational experience and a unique opportunity for budding young actors to work with amazing industry professionals taking them through dance, vocal and Musical Theatre sessions.
